Texas Silver Project

Reviving a Historically Proven Australian Silver District

Located in Southern Queensland, the Texas Silver Project combines existing mining leases, extensive exploration tenure, established infrastructure, accessible surface inventories and a defined hard-rock resource.

Silver Star Resources is advancing a staged restart strategy designed to generate early operating cash flow before progressing toward long-term hard-rock production and broader district growth.

Project Overview

Existing Value. A New Development Pathway.

Existing Value. A New Development Pathway.
The Texas Silver Project is not a greenfield concept. It is a historically proven Australian silver and polymetallic district supported by more than a century of mining, drilling, metallurgy, processing activity and infrastructure development.

The project includes the Twin Hills, Mount Gunyan and Silver Spur mining leases together with extensive surrounding exploration tenure. Silver Star Resources is building upon this existing foundation through a disciplined staged development pathway that begins with surface-processing opportunities before transitioning toward long-term hard-rock mining.

Existing Infrastructure

A Foundation Already in Place

Existing plant, buildings, roads and site infrastructure distinguish the Texas Silver Project from a greenfield development. While individual assets remain subject to assessment and recommissioning, the existing site footprint may reduce replacement requirements, restart complexity and development timelines.

Resource & Surface Inventory

Defined Resources and Accessible Surface Material

The project combines a defined hard-rock JORC resource with accessible material already located on surface. The surface inventory provides a lower-complexity starting point because the material has already been mined and placed within the project area — creating a potential pathway into early processing before the project progresses toward long-term hard-rock operations.

Staged Restart Overview

A Staged Pathway to Long-Term Production

The restart strategy is designed to deploy capital progressively, build operating knowledge and use early-stage processing opportunities to support later development.

Stage 1

Site Stabilisation & Restart Readiness

Preparing existing infrastructure, regulatory approvals and operational readiness for a safe, efficient production restart.

Stage 2

Surface Processing

Reprocessing material already mined and located on site.

Stage 3

Silver Spur Slag Recovery

A higher-grade surface-processing opportunity.

Stage 4

Hard-Rock Mining

Transition toward the project's long-term production platform.

Exploration Potential

Growth Beyond the Existing Resource

The existing deposits form part of a broader historically mineralised district containing numerous mines, workings and underexplored targets. The project is supported by more than 700 historical drill sites and over 40,000 metres of drilling information. Much of the historical drilling focused on shallow mineralisation, leaving deeper and regional potential to be evaluated through modern geological interpretation and targeted exploration.

The Opportunity Ahead

Turning a Historic Silver District Into a Modern Production Story

The Texas Silver Project combines existing infrastructure, accessible surface inventories, a defined hard-rock resource and extensive exploration tenure. Silver Star Resources is advancing a disciplined pathway intended to convert this existing project value into production and progressively build the wider Texas Mineral Field into a long-term Australian silver and polymetallic platform.
